Nordic Horizons: Iconic Landmarks
Hålogaland Bridge (E6) — One of Norway’s contemporary engineering landmarks, opened in 2018. The bridge stretches 1,533 metres across Rombaksfjorden and features 175-metre pylons and elegant cable lines. Besides its striking silhouette, the crossing plays a vital role in northern Norway’s transport network; in-game it offers the same stunning fjord and mountain panoramas that make this route so memorable.
Sámi Parliament building in Karasjok
Sámi Parliament, Karasjok — A contemporary structure inspired by the traditional lavvu, the building is a powerful symbol of Sámi identity and self-governance. Nearby cultural sites enrich the route with indigenous history and design.
Gävle Theatre exterior
Gävle Theatre, Sweden — Dating from the 19th century, this elegant theatre has long hosted drama, music and community arts. Its ornate façade and historic ambience reflect classical Scandinavian cultural tradition.
Nordkapp cliff with globe monument
Nordkapp — Perched 307 metres above the Barents Sea, Nordkapp’s cliff and iconic globe monument mark one of mainland Europe’s most northerly viewpoints. Expect sweeping Arctic Ocean vistas, the midnight sun in summer and polar night atmospheres in winter—an unforgettable waypoint for any long haul.
Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi
Santa Claus Village, Rovaniemi — Located on the Arctic Circle, this world-famous village blends year-round festive attractions with Arctic charm. Whether you arrive in summer or winter, the site is a cheerful and photogenic stop on your journey.
