NewJeans Celebrate Fourth Anniversary with New Special Film Series Following Reunion as a Quartet

Four years after their meteoric rise transformed the K-pop landscape, NewJeans is commemorating their journey with a heartfelt tribute to their global fanbase.
On Tuesday (July 21), the group launched “2026 Summer of NewJeans,” an evocative anniversary film series. The collection includes four individual vignettes alongside a collective group film, signaling a poignant new chapter for Minji, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein following a period of professional uncertainty.
The cinematic group film captures a serene, moonlit reunion. As the members drift into the frame—holding hands and sharing quiet smiles—the visual aesthetic channels the wistful, intimate charm that first defined the group’s debut. Throughout the individual films, subtle motifs of white fur and delicate imagery pay homage to their dedicated fandom, “Bunnies,” serving as a quiet gesture of gratitude for their unwavering support.
“This special project was born from the members’ heartfelt desire to celebrate their fourth anniversary alongside our fans,” ADOR stated in an official release. “We hope our Bunnies cherish these films as a sincere token of appreciation.”
This milestone arrives after a complex two-year period for the group. Following the original lineup’s transition and subsequent legal proceedings, Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein reaffirmed their commitment to ADOR in 2025, with Minji officially joining the reunion earlier this summer. Danielle, who concluded her contract with the label in late 2025, does not participate in this project.
The reunion marks a fresh start for the record-breaking quartet. Since their 2022 inception, NewJeans has solidified their status as global icons, boasting five entries on the Billboard Hot 100 and securing a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 with their 2nd EP ‘Get Up.’ Their influence was further cemented when they were honored as Group of the Year at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music awards.
