Season 2 story

Rhiannon enters the new season with a promotion, a new romantic relationship and a dangerous copycat. The imitator threatens to expose her secret while her kill list grows, forcing her to confront the question raised by her former partner AJ: whether she has become a monster.

The premise continues the first season’s mix of black comedy, workplace frustration and crime. Sky announced the renewal in December 2024, saying Rhiannon’s killer secret would keep spiraling and that she would become more twisted.

Returning and new cast

Ella Purnell returns as Rhiannon and remains an executive producer. Rish Shah joins as Gabriel, her new romantic interest. Tamsin Greig plays AJ’s mother Liv, Taj Atwal plays Rhiannon’s new boss Freya at the Carnsham Gazette, and Jenny Walser appears as Daisy.

Returning cast members include Jon Pointing, Jeremy Swift, Leah Harvey, Ingrid Oliver, Nitin Ganatra and Alexandra Dowling. The series is adapted from C. J. Skuse’s novel and is produced by See-Saw Films and fanboy in association with Sky Studios.

Where and when to watch

Sky’s confirmed window is 2026 on Sky and NOW in the United Kingdom. Availability elsewhere can depend on regional distribution agreements; the first season is on Starz in the United States. Viewers should wait for an official platform announcement before assuming that Season 2 will follow exactly the same international schedule.
