New Season of “Silo” Receives Rave Reviews from Critics

Critics’ reviews for the third season of the dystopian series “Silo” have been released, and the new episodes are currently streaming on Apple TV+.

The show has garnered a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 77 out of 100 on Metacritic. Reviewers have lauded the show’s grander scope and the creative decision to venture beyond the confines of the titular silo, delving into a prequel storyline set approximately a century before the main events.

“Silo” is adapted from the acclaimed book series by Hugh Howey. Set in a bleak future, the story follows the remnants of humanity living in a vast underground bunker, where inhabitants are conditioned to believe that the outside world is desolate, toxic, and lethal. Following a suppressed rebellion and a failed “cleaning,” the protagonist Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) struggles to recover while facing an ominous new threat.

The series premiered in 2023, with its second installment arriving in 2024. The upcoming fourth season has been confirmed as the show’s finale.
