ABC has announced the premiere date for the Scrubs reboot: new episodes will begin airing on February 25, 2026.
Leading cast members returning include Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes and others. New additions to the ensemble are Vanessa Bayer and Joel Kim Booster. Specifics about the reboot’s storyline remain scarce. Bill Lawrence — known for Ted Lasso — is once again at the helm as the series’ creator.
The original Scrubs ran on NBC from 2001 to 2010 and chronicled the experiences of intern John Dorian (J.D., played by Braff) and his friend Chris Turk (Faison) as they worked at Sacred Heart Hospital.
