Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esme Creed-Miles take center stage as the Dashwood sisters, Elinor and Marianne. The impressive ensemble cast also features George MacKay, Frank Dillane, Caitríona Balfe, Fiona Shaw, and Herbert Nordrum.
Directed by Georgia Oakley (Blue Jean) and penned by Australian writer Diana Reid, the film aims to honor the spirit of Austen’s original prose. The production promises a poignant exploration of family bonds, social disparities, and the restrictive roles imposed upon women during the early 19th century.
Poised to be a standout cinematic event, Sense and Sensibility is among the most anticipated adaptations of 2026, with a theatrical release slated for this autumn.
