New Pixar Movie Receives Rave Reviews from Critics

The initial wave of critical reactions to Pixar’s newest animated venture, Hoppers, has begun to surface online.

At the time of writing, the film boasts a stellar 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, marking one of the studio’s most impressive critical receptions in a decade—matching the success of Coco and trailing just behind the original Inside Out. Early reviews highlight the film’s sharp wit, conceptual ingenuity, and its distinctively surreal narrative tone.

The story follows a young girl named Mabel, who undergoes a consciousness transfer into a robotic beaver. Through this transformation, she must find common ground with the forest’s inhabitants and uncover the enigmas of a world entirely new to her.

The voice cast features the talents of Piper Curda, Jon Hamm, and Meryl Streep. Directorial duties were handled by Daniel Chong, known for his work on Cars 2 and We Bare Bears. Hoppers is scheduled to debut in U.S. theaters on March 6.
