The first wave of reviews for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man has arrived online ahead of its highly anticipated Netflix debut on March 20.

Critics have largely embraced this cinematic extension of the iconic series. The film currently boasts a stellar 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, though the reception on Metacritic is notably more grounded, sitting at a score of 61 out of 100.

Early reviews highlight the film’s impressive historical scope, atmospheric tension, and poignant narrative beats. According to commentators, The Immortal Man serves as both a rewarding gift for devoted fans and a compelling standalone experience for general audiences.

Set against the turbulent backdrop of World War II, the plot follows legendary gangster Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) as he navigates the ruins of a bombed-out Birmingham and reunites with his son, Duke (Barry Keoghan).
