New Minecraft Dungeons II Trailer Shows Unknown World
Mojang and Xbox have released a new gameplay trailer for Minecraft Dungeons II, showcasing a mysterious dimension known as Sift that players can enter through world rifts.
The video offers another look at the sequel to the 2020 Diablo-style action-RPG. The spotlight centers on the mysterious rifts previously teased in promotional materials, which developers have now confirmed lead directly into Sift, an entirely new dimension created specifically for the second installment.
Sift differs significantly from the familiar Minecraft aesthetic, with the development team describing the realm as both strange and beautiful. Peaceful exploration does not last long, however, as hostile creatures quickly force players into combat.
Minecraft Dungeons II retains its core emphasis on cooperative play. Groups of players will explore locations together, clash with enemy mobs, and utilize various gear setups. The sequel will also feature new enemy types and expanded gear customization options.
Minecraft Dungeons II is scheduled to launch on September 29, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
