BioWare will continue to expand the celebrated franchise.
N7 Day was recently observed, and Mass Effect fans were joined in the celebration by the team at BioWare.
Executive producer Michael Gamble confirmed that development on the next entry in the franchise is underway:
Like you, we’ve been hearing those rumors lately. You’ve made it clear how deeply you care about the future. So to set the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling new stories in this universe.
The Mass Effect developers also posted on social media. Fans quickly decoded the clue — the link pointed to artwork depicting a Krogan civil war (the original image is over 100 MB).
