New Chainsmokers Remix Turns Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” Into a Club Banger
Taylor Swift and The Chainsmokers Unveil a High‑Voltage Club Remix of “The Fate of Ophelia”
Published November 25, 2025

Get ready for a night on the dancefloor: Taylor Swift has teamed up with The Chainsmokers to release a propulsive remix of “The Fate of Ophelia” designed specifically for clubs and festival sets. The rework layers pounding percussion, soaring EDM textures and energetic bass drops that are sure to find a home in DJs’ playlists.
The collaboration was announced on November 25, 2025 by Taylor Nation via Instagram, and the track — billed as “The Fate of Ophelia (The Chainsmokers Remix)” — is available to purchase and stream on major platforms, including iTunes and Amazon Music, and through Swift’s official online store. The short preview shared by the team highlights a denser, more urgent production while quoting lines from the song that “wrap around us like a chain, a crown, a vine.”
“This is truly an honor 🙏🏻 we love u T.”
The remix arrives as the original version of “The Fate of Ophelia” continues its dominance, spending a seventh consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song served as the lead single from Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl, which has concurrently remained at the summit of the Billboard 200 for the same span of weeks.
Industry observers note that the Chainsmokers’ dancefloor overhaul could help the single extend its run, potentially pushing “Ophelia” into an eighth week atop the Hot 100 — a milestone that would tie Swift’s 2022 hit “Anti‑Hero” for her longest-running No. 1. Swift has previously supported singles with multiple remixes; in 2022 she released alternate takes on “Anti‑Hero” by artists such as ILLENIUM, Kungs, Bleachers, Roosevelt and Jayda G.
Swift’s remix collaborators have varied across the years, and she’s previously worked with electronic and production acts including Snakehips, Four Tet, BloodPop and LP Giobbi on reimagined versions of her songs.
