Director Jane Schönbrunn (I Saw the TV Glow) is developing a new television series based on the graphic-novel cycle Black Hole, Variety reports.
The show will be produced by Netflix. Charles Burns’s Black Hole was published between 1995 and 2005; set in the small town of Roosevelt, the story follows local youths who begin to fall ill with a mysterious, sexually transmitted virus.
Schönbrunn is simultaneously attached to the slasher Teen Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
