Netflix to release new Danny Boyle film
Netflix has secured the distribution rights for Danny Boyle’s latest biographical drama, Ink.
The agreement covers territories across North and Latin America. Produced by StudioCanal, the film is set to hold its world premiere as the opening selection at this year’s Venice Film Festival.
Ink chronicles the origins of the iconic tabloid The Sun, focusing on the dynamic between media mogul Rupert Murdoch and editor Larry Lamb. The star-studded cast features Guy Pearce (Memento), Jack O’Connell (28 Years Later), and Claire Foy (The Crown). The screenplay was penned by James Graham, adapted from his own acclaimed 2017 stage play of the same name.
