Netflix Releases Third Teaser and Sets Premiere Date for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2

Netflix has released a new teaser for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 and confirmed its official release date. All 10 episodes of the second season will premiere on October 20, 2026.

The continuation follows a new crew of Night City mercenaries and will not connect directly to the events of the first season. The central cast features veteran solo Wick, netrunner Dee, cinephile Roman Carax, and Talia, who has ties to the Maelstrom gang.

Netflix describes the second season as a standalone story of revenge and redemption set in a city where violence has become spectacle. The protagonists must determine how far they are willing to go to make others hear their story.

Studio Trigger and CD Projekt RED are handling production once again. Bartosz Sztybor of CD Projekt RED serves as showrunner, writer, and producer. Kai Ikarashi, who directed the sixth episode of the first season, is directing the new season. Ichigo Kanno (Promare) is handling character design, and Tsuneo Imahori (Trigun, Gungrave) is composing the score.
