Netflix Hints at Early Release for One Piece Season 4
Netflix has not yet confirmed a fourth season for its successful live-action adaptation of One Piece, but recent hints suggest that viewers will see the Straw Hats back in action soon. According to new information on the Writers Guild of America (WGA) website, season 4 of Netflix’s One Piece could arrive as early as 2027.
Netflix debuted its live-action One Piece series in 2023, and it quickly became one of the platform’s most-watched shows. Many considered the manga and anime impossible to adapt, but the series proved that the story of Luffy and the Straw Hats resonates with audiences across mediums. A second season debuted in March 2026, and a third one is slated for release in 2027.
Season 4 of Netflix’s One Piece could be released between 2027 and 2028

In September 2026, a message shared by the organizer of The One Con in Paris appeared to accidentally reveal that the cast would gather to film a new season in December 2026. For context, filming for season 3 officially wrapped up on June 30, 2026. New information now suggests that season 4 will be released between 2027 and 2028.
The WGA website updated its One Piece page to list the staff for season 4 along with a 2027-2028 date. Lacking statements from Netflix, this is not official confirmation, but the timeline matches previous leaks and fits the gap between seasons 2 and 3.
In season 2 of One Piece, the Straw Hats reached the Grand Line. There, they encountered new enemies and recruited Tony Tony Chopper (Mikaela Hoover), a reindeer doctor. The crew also helped Vivi (Charithra Chandran), the princess of the Alabasta kingdom, who sought to free her country from Baroque Works and its leader, Mr. Crocodile (Joe Manganiello). In season 3, Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and the crew fight to protect their friend and her kingdom.

If season 3 covers the entirety of the Alabasta Arc from the manga, season 4 could send the Straw Hats toward Jaya and an island in the sky. If the reports prove true, fans will soon see this next chapter of the journey on screen.
