Mumford & Sons to Headline BST Hyde Park on July 4, 2026

Mumford & Sons will make a triumphant return to BST Hyde Park on July 4, 2026, marking their first headline appearance at the London festival in a decade.
The band will top the bill alongside U.S. alternative rock outfit The War On Drugs. Additional performers for the July 4 bill will be announced in the coming weeks.
General tickets for the BST Hyde Park performance go on sale December 4, 2025 through the festival’s official site; an artist presale will be offered earlier that week to subscribers on the Mumford & Sons mailing list. Visit BST Hyde Park’s website for ticketing details.
“Hyde Park is woven into our story, it’s where so many memories were made. Coming back a decade later, with all this new music, feels incredibly special,” the band said in a statement. “London is and always will be the band’s home. We can’t wait.”
AEG Presents CEO Jim King added: “Mumford & Sons’ last Hyde Park show was a milestone for BST. Having them return at this moment in their career is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Mumford & Sons previously closed a BST Hyde Park stage in 2015 while promoting their third album, Wilder Mind, and before that they appeared at the festival in supporting slots with acts such as Arcade Fire and The Vaccines.
The 2026 BST Hyde Park slate is loaded: country superstar Garth Brooks will open the summer run on June 27, 2026, with Maroon 5 headlining July 3, Mumford & Sons on July 4, and a July 10 bill featuring Pitbull and Kesha. Lewis Capaldi is scheduled to play headline shows on July 11 and 12, 2026.
Meanwhile, Mumford & Sons are in the midst of a U.K. arena tour that begins in Newcastle on November 29, 2025. The itinerary includes stops in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham and Cardiff, and concludes with two nights at The O2 in London on December 10–11, 2025.
The group’s sixth studio album, Prizefighter, is slated for release on February 13, 2026 via Island Records. The record features collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez, and follows their U.K. chart-topping album Rushmere, which reached No. 1 in March 2025.
