The FromSoftware game is being improved by the fan community outside of PlayStation.

Bloodborne has yet to receive an official remake, remaster, or PC version. However, thanks to the shadPS4 emulator, PC gamers are now able to play the FromSoftware title and improve it on their own.

An update has recently been released for the unofficial Bloodborne PC remaster. A modder known as fromsoftserve explained that the update adds dynamic shadows to all in-game objects, adjusts “gparams” settings to increase shadow draw distance, and improves stability. In addition, the mod introduces parallax occlusion mapping to numerous surfaces for better self-shadowing definition, along with new point light sources for various objects such as candles and lamps.

The modder states that this update includes new assets for the Hunter’s Dream and most of central Yharnam. They have created many new shininess maps for surfaces and reworked existing ones, decreasing specular reflection on certain surfaces while increasing it on others.

The BB PC Remaster modification by fromsoftserve is available for free through Nexus Mods.

The modder has published a new trailer for update 1.01, which can be viewed via the following link.
