Gameplay Teaser Released for Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Mod Featuring RP Servers
Players will be able to launch a server and set their own rules.
CD Projekt RED never released an official multiplayer mode for Cyberpunk 2077. However, demand for a sort of Cyberpunk Online exists within the fan community, prompting modders to attempt creating similar projects.
Enthusiasts previously announced CyberMP, and now a test version of another multiplayer project is preparing for launch. The creators of Open77 plan to introduce not just an online game mode, but the ability to run roleplay servers. They want to offer players a car dealership system, flying cars, a proprietary economy, various job types, VR support, and custom scripts.
The modders shared that players who launch their own dedicated servers will be able to set their own rules, configure various elements, and shape the community.
The alpha test launch of the Open77 multiplayer project for Cyberpunk 2077 is expected on November 7, 2026.

Previously, the creators of another multiplayer project for Cyberpunk 2077 announced the start of testing. Thanks to NightCoop, players can play through the campaign together or take part in optional PvP battles.
