Mister Terrific from “Superman” may get his own spin-off series
A recent article by The Hollywood Reporter, which analyzed the box office struggles of “Supergirl,” revealed that a standalone series centered on Mr. Terrific is currently in the works.
Edi Gathegi is set to reprise his role as the brilliant inventor and superhero following his debut in James Gunn’s “Superman.” The pilot episode is being penned by Allan Heinberg, whose notable credits include “The Sandman” and “Wonder Woman.”
The project is in the early stages of development; consequently, details regarding the distribution platform, episode count, production schedule, and the remainder of the creative team have yet to be disclosed.
