MIMESIS is set to receive a Logistics Mode this September, while ChipWits Worlds is promoting a free festival demo. The two games lead the latest Game.Press newsletter, offering very different takes on managing a team under pressure.

MIMESIS adds delivery shifts with a hidden threat

The new mode in ReLU Games’ co-op horror game puts players in charge of delivery shifts. Teams must unload cargo, repair damaged trams and finish their work before time runs out.

A Mimic can hide among the group, adding uncertainty to jobs that depend on cooperation. MIMESIS supports up to four players online and requires a microphone. The newsletter gives a September window for Logistics Mode, without specifying an exact launch day.

ChipWits Worlds lets players program a robot colony

ChipWits Worlds takes a technical approach to automation. Players write 6502 assembly routines for robots exploring an alien world, managing their sensors, tools and cargo alongside the colony’s power supply.

The game combines robot programming with mining, construction and survival. Solar generation stops at night, so battery reserves and a reliable charging network become essential. Players can also control robots directly or assign tasks before moving to fully autonomous routines.

The Game.Press campaign highlights a free festival demo on Steam. A release date for the full game has not yet been announced.
