On his 64th birthday, Billy Ray Cyrus received a heartfelt tribute from his daughter, Miley Cyrus—a never-before-heard song titled “Secrets,” enriched by contributions from two iconic rock musicians he adores.

Billy Ray posted on Instagram, “For my birthday, Miley gifted me the magic of music—a song she penned called ‘Secrets,’ featuring my beloved artists, Fleetwood Mac. Love you, Mile.” In the video, he strolls through a sunlit meadow, grinning as the tender melody streams from his phone.

On the track, Miley croons, “Secrets, I want to keep your secrets / Like sunlight in the shadows / Like footsteps in the grass…” She first revealed the collaboration—featuring Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham—in June on People, sharing how composing the song helped mend the long-standing rift with her father.

“I wrote this song to give my dad a safe space to unburden himself, even when the truths were painful,” she told Monica Lewinsky. “As the middle child, I wanted to show him I could handle whatever he needed to share.”

Billy Ray’s celebrations didn’t stop there. He also debuted a fresh remix of his 1990 breakout hit “Achy Breaky Heart.” Accompanied by vintage footage in his Instagram reel, he wrote, “From my first performance of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ in spring ’91 to today’s remix, I owe it all to you. Partnering with songwriter Don Von Tress and The Johnson Mill Branch Boys, this ‘Achy Breaky Heart (Remix)’ is my thank-you to the fans. Your support has made this journey possible.”

The original “Achy Breaky Heart” soared to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and dominated the Hot Country Singles chart, remaining Cyrus’s signature chart-topper until his 2018 collaboration with Lil Nas X, “Old Town Road,” claimed the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100.
