Mia Goth Wraps Filming on Thriller from “Anatomy of a Fall” Director

Mia Goth, the star of Pearl and the upcoming Frankenstein, has officially wrapped filming on The Foundations. This project marks the English-language debut of Oscar-winning French filmmaker Justine Triet, best known for her acclaimed work on Anatomy of a Fall. The director confirmed the completion of principal photography via social media.

Goth joins an impressive ensemble cast that includes Andrew Scott, Odessa A’zion, Frank Dillane, Allison Janney, and Cherry Jones. The narrative of The Foundations is set within a mysterious, enigmatic institution. In Russia, the film is set to be distributed by Pro:vzglyad, the studio behind the release of Parasite.

The Foundations is scheduled for a 2027 theatrical release. Fans can see Mia Goth on screen sooner, however, as she is set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, The Odyssey, portraying the handmaiden Melantho.
