Dan Trachtenberg’s first theatrical entry in the Predator franchise, Predator: Badlands, is now playing in cinemas. Although the franchise is synonymous with brutal violence, this installment carries a PG‑13 rating — but if you crave something darker and bloodier in the same universe, there’s an exciting development: Marvel’s Predator comic is arriving on Webtoon.
The six‑issue run Predator: Day of the Hunter (2022–2023), written by Ed Brisson with art from Kev Walker and colors by Frank D’Armata, follows Theta — the lone survivor of a Predator ambush. In the Yautja code, hunting is sacred: any quarry that lives after being discovered becomes the hunter’s rightful prize. Once the Predator realizes Theta survived, she becomes a marked target.
Theta refuses to accept defeat. Her arc is one of ruthless survival and retribution, delivering relentless action and visceral imagery that will appeal to readers who favor high‑impact, violent storytelling.
Adapted for Webtoon’s vertical‑scroll format, Theta’s struggle and quest for vengeance will reach a global digital audience; this marks the first time a Predator comic will be published on Webtoon. The series launches on November 7, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET.
