At a recent concert in Detroit, an audience member crossed a clear boundary when she reached over the barrier and groped Mario while he was performing. The interaction — captured in video from the venue pit — shows the singer reacting immediately to the unwanted contact.

The clip, which was posted to Instagram on Nov. 24, 2025, shows Mario standing at the front edge of the stage at the Masonic Jack White Theatre where fans could reach him.
