“We’ve got something to say about it,” the duo teased in a joint statement, confirming that the new track is slated for release on Thursday, April 30, at 3 p.m. PT.

Offering fans a tantalizing glimpse, Carpenter shared a preview via her Instagram Story. This release precedes Madonna’s upcoming studio album, Confessions II, which serves as a spiritual successor to her iconic 2005 record, Confessions on a Dance Floor. While “I Feel So Free” was released as an early teaser for the era, representatives for the artist have clarified that it is not the project’s official lead single.
