Celebrate the Louisiana DLC — Cruising Louisiana World of Trucks Event
Join us on Thursday, December 4 to mark the launch of the and take part in the new World of Trucks community event — Cruising Louisiana. Prepare to experience the music, cuisine, and history of the Pelican State.
Event Objective
Your task is simple: deliver freight to or from any city in Louisiana and help the community reach a combined goal of 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km). With the strength of our #BestCommunityEver, we know you’ll help push us across the finish line.
While taking part in #CruisingLouisiana, you’ll drive through verdant bayous, winding backroads, and historic highways. From the jazz-filled streets of New Orleans to the industrial corridors of Baton Rouge, test your skills across a state rich in culture and character.
Notable Sights to Visit
Here are a few highlights you can expect along your route:
- Lake Pontchartrain Causeway — Two parallel spans crossing Lake Pontchartrain, among the longest bridges of their kind.
- Avery Island — A storied salt dome and the birthplace of a famed hot sauce.
- Port Fourchon — Louisiana’s southernmost port and a vital hub for Gulf offshore operations.
- Oak Alley Plantation — A well-preserved historic estate on the Mississippi’s west bank.
And that’s only the beginning — Louisiana’s economy and landscapes hide many more discoveries.
You may use your own trailer and select jobs from the External Market to join the event.
How to Qualify
The Louisiana DLC introduces 11 cities to explore. A special in‑game reward awaits players who complete deliveries to or from any 10 of those cities. Every job counted toward the event must cover at least 100 miles (161 km).
Immerse yourself in Cajun culture, lively urban centres, scenic country roads, and swampy marshland as you cruise through the Pelican State.
Rules
Play using External Contracts or the External Market with a World of Trucks‑connected ATS profile. The community target is to drive 125,000,000 miles (201,168,000 km) on deliveries made to or from any city in Louisiana.
A player’s personal goal is met when they complete deliveries to or from 10 different Louisiana cities. All qualifying jobs must be at least 100 miles (161 km) in length.
You can verify whether recent deliveries count by checking the on your World of Trucks profile.
Rewards

Personal: Deliver to or from 10 Louisiana cities to earn a World of Trucks achievement and the Southern Wings ATS truck paint job (Steam inventory item).

Community: If the community reaches the 125,000,000 miles goal and you have completed your personal objective, you’ll receive the Golden South hanging ornament (Steam inventory item).
Note: To be eligible for community rewards you must complete your personal goal in American Truck Simulator. Rewards are distributed as Steam inventory items for ATS and can be claimed from the Events page on your profile.
