Distribution company Capella Film has unveiled the dubbed trailer for the upcoming supernatural horror feature “Hokum,” which is slated for a theatrical release on May 7.
The plot follows a writer (portrayed by Adam Scott) who travels to a mysterious Irish hotel to scatter his parents’ ashes. However, his journey takes a dark turn as he begins to encounter chilling paranormal activity within the building’s walls.
The film is helmed by director Damian McCarthy (known for “Oddity”). It has already garnered significant praise from critics, currently maintaining an impressive 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
