Live-action Naruto movie production begins in 2027

Destin Daniel Cretton, the visionary director behind the latest Spider-Man installment, is turning his attention to his next major endeavor: the Hollywood live-action adaptation of the legendary Naruto manga. Cretton had been developing this Lionsgate production even before taking the helm of his most recent superhero blockbuster. Now that his commitments to Marvel are concluding, the director is refocusing his efforts on the iconic Japanese franchise.
