Lily-Rose Depp to Star as Playboy Model

Nosferatu star Lily-Rose Depp is set to headline the upcoming dramedy Playmates, according to recent media reports.

Depp will portray Anna, an aspiring model determined to grace the cover of Playboy as “Playmate of the Month.” While navigating life at the legendary Playboy Mansion, she forms an unexpected bond with 13-year-old Elle, who frequently visits the estate alongside her parents.

This semi-autobiographical project marks the directorial debut of Lorraine Nicholson, daughter of Jack Nicholson and model Rebecca Broussard. The film will feature Bill Pullman (Lost Highway) as Hugh Hefner, with Indiana Elle (Maid) cast as the young Elle. The production is being overseen by Searchlight Pictures.

In addition to her starring role, Depp will serve as a producer on the project. Audiences can next see her on the big screen this December in Robert Eggers’ horror film Nosferatu.
