Amazon has officially unveiled the leads for its upcoming live-action Life is Strange series. Heading the long-awaited adaptation are Maisie Stella (My Old Ass) and newcomer Tatum Grace Hopkins.
Development of the project was first teased last September, aiming to bring the 2015 cult classic by French studio Dontnod Entertainment to the screen. The story centers on Maxine “Max” Caulfield (Hopkins), a photography student who discovers she possesses the supernatural ability to rewind time after saving her estranged best friend, Chloe Price (Stella), from a fatal incident.
Charlie Covell, the creative force behind The End of the F***ing World, is attached as the showrunner. While a premiere date remains under wraps, Life is Strange is slated to debut globally on the Prime Video streaming platform.
