Lego to Retire Star Wars and X-Men Sets in 2026
Most Lego sets remain available for a limited time. The Lego Company routinely cycles older builds out of active production to create space for new ones. Once store stock disappears, these items become exclusively available through secondary markets like eBay, where sellers charge much higher prices than the original retail value. Brick Fanatics compiled a list earlier this month detailing every Lego set scheduled for discontinuation at the end of 2026. Properties such as Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Jurassic World, Mario, Animal Crossing, and One Piece all feature builds slated to leave production. Five of the most notable sets facing retirement include the following builds.
Millennium Falcon

Han Solo’s cargo runner, the Millennium Falcon, stands out as a primary association for Star Wars enthusiasts. While previous iterations exist, the product page describes the build as “the largest, most detailed Lego® Star Wars Millennium Falcon model we’ve ever created.” The model contains 7,541 pieces and costs $849.99. Lego released the set on Sep. 14, 2017, making it by far the longest-in-production set retiring on Dec. 31, 2026.
X-Men: The X-Mansion

The X-Men: The X-Mansion set depicts the team home base under attack. The 3,093-piece build features a Sentinel attacking Xavier’s school while Professor X, Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Jean Grey, Bishop, Gambit, and Cyclops team up with Magneto to defeat the robot. The set launched on Nov. 1, 2024, with a price tag of $329.99.
Batman Forever Batmobile

Lego has adapted nearly every version of the Batmobile into brick form, and the Batman Forever Batmobile stands among the strongest designs. The recreation of Bruce Wayne’s rocket-like vehicle from the 1995 film directed by Joel Schumacher features 909 pieces and retails for $99.99. Although less elaborate than this year’s Batman Returns Batmobile, the lower price point offers a more accessible alternative.

Star Wars Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser
The Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser serves as the in-universe predecessor to the Death Star and functions as a massive display piece. The set totals 5,374 pieces and costs $649.99. It has remained in active duty since Oct. 1, 2023.

Minecraft’s Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring

The Minecraft Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring set recreates the popular meme featuring a baby zombie riding a chicken from the Minecraft movie. The build consists of 491 pieces and retails for $49.99, placing it on the affordable end of the retiring lineup.
