Leak Hints at Another Call of Duty Coming to Xbox Game Pass
Since Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard King, Xbox fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the publisher’s older titles on Xbox Game Pass.
Progress has been gradual. At the moment, the service’s catalog contains only nine Activision releases, including four Call of Duty entries — Black Ops 6, WWII, Modern Warfare II, and Modern Warfare III.
But users have noticed an intriguing detail. A new Game Pass promotion on Xbox’s homepage showcases already available games and one unexpected element — a tile for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (2020). That strongly suggests Microsoft may be preparing to add this fan-favorite version of the shooter to the subscription.
If confirmed, this could mark the beginning of a more active expansion of Game Pass using Activision’s back catalog. For players, it would be a long-awaited development that brings beloved titles from past years into the service’s library.
