As January draws to a close, I find it difficult to believe how swiftly the weeks have vanished. The rapid pace of time brings a touch of apprehension; I frequently wonder if we can truly bring inZOI to completion within the current year.
How has your start to the year been? I hope your own milestones for 2026 are progressing exactly as you envisioned.
Working alongside the dedicated crew here has been an incredibly exhilarating journey. Witnessing the game evolve and refine itself day by day provides a massive surge of motivation. Nevertheless, the feeling that time is slipping through our fingers remains a constant challenge.
While reviewing our latest footage, I realized we are only now addressing certain core elements that should have been optimized much earlier. It made me reflect on how frustrating those lingering issues must have been for our community, and it has strengthened our resolve to polish these foundational systems with greater urgency and precision.
Looking ahead, I am eager to establish more effective channels for gathering and implementing your feedback. We have paid close attention to the critiques regarding the HUD, specifically that it feels too intrusive. Consequently, we are drafting a redesigned GUI concept and look forward to hearing your thoughts on the new direction.
I am also curious about your interest in expanded mobility. How much would the freedom to drive vehicles or ride bicycles anywhere in the world enhance your immersion?
Finally, we are contemplating a comprehensive refresh of the lobby interface—integrating News, Discord, Canvas profiles, and notifications. Because changes to the user experience can often be disruptive, we are approaching these updates with care to ensure they provide a seamless transition.
