Korean Sci-Fi Film “Hope” Gets Russian Release Date
Distributor World Pictures has officially announced the theatrical release date for Hope, the latest directorial effort from Na Hong-jin (known for The Wailing). The film, which competed at the Cannes Film Festival, is scheduled to premiere in theaters on September 10.
The narrative follows the inhabitants of a secluded town as they confront a mysterious extraterrestrial presence. The star-studded cast features Jung Ho-yeon (Squid Game), Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, and Taylor Russell, among others.
Following its screening at Cannes, the picture garnered a positive reception from critics, currently holding a 79% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
