Kidbash: Super Legend heads to Steam and consoles with Acclaim as publisher
Acclaim announced Kidbash: Super Legend during BITSummit in Kyoto. Indonesian studios Authentic Remixes and Fat Raccoon are developing the roguelike action-platformer for Steam and consoles, with release planned for early 2027.
The game follows Kidbash, a forgotten hero who wakes up without memories and tries to rebuild both his identity and the village around him. The developers frame the adventure around action-platforming, roguelike progression and a claymation-style world built like a small diorama.
Combat uses weapon mixing. Players fill a meter by defeating enemies, combine two weapons into stronger forms and add randomized mods that affect movement and fights. Village rebuilding also feeds into meta progression, so the settlement becomes part of the character’s growth.
The announcement trailer shows the cast, large bosses and a first look at gameplay. Acclaim is positioning Kidbash: Super Legend as part of its revived publishing slate for premium indie games.
