The momentum behind Keznamdi’s acclaimed Blxxd & Fyah project shows no signs of slowing down.
Following his triumphant Grammy win for Best Reggae Album, the artist officially unveiled the routing for his highly anticipated “Blxxd & Fyah Live” tour on Monday, June 1. The five-city headline run is set to kick off on October 4 at San Francisco’s Café du Nord, winding through California and Pennsylvania before reaching a grand finale at Brooklyn Bowl in New York on October 14.
“We’re looking to elevate the standard for reggae and dancehall production,” Keznamdi shared with Billboard. “Reggae is fundamentally about the human experience and connection—something that technology and AI simply cannot replicate. The live performance is where that spirit truly lives.”
Keznamdi’s recent milestone was bolstered by intimate, high-energy sets in Los Angeles and New York this past May. These performances followed a high-profile remix of his track “Bun Di Ganja” by legendary hip-hop trio The LOX, keeping his name at the forefront of the industry. Fans can also catch him prior to the tour at a special free performance at Eisenhower Park, New York, on July 17.
Reflecting on the reception of his recent shows, the Kingston native noted the deep resonance of his lyrics. “Seeing the crowd singing every word back to me is the ultimate validation. The New York show was particularly special—it felt like a turning point, with the industry finally seeing the scale of the community behind this music.”
While Keznamdi is currently balancing his musical ascent with advocacy—including his work on the environmental documentary Beach Inna Bondage—he is already deep into the creative process for his next studio project.
“The Grammy win opened doors to some incredible collaborations with artists from the U.S. and the broader Caribbean diaspora,” he teased. “I’m about halfway through the next album. We captured a live session in Los Angeles that gave it a whole new soul. The goal is to keep this energy building and deliver another body of work before the year concludes.”
