Keanu Reeves plans to star in a live-action LEGO movie
According to Deadline, Keanu Reeves is currently in negotiations to headline a new installment within the LEGO cinematic universe, currently being developed by Universal Pictures.
The project is set to be helmed by director Josh Cooley, known for his work on “Toy Story 4,” in which Reeves voiced the daredevil stuntman Duke Caboom. While plot specifics remain under wraps, it is understood that the production will be a live-action and animation hybrid. Rather than serving as a direct sequel to the Warner Bros. “The LEGO Movie” franchise, this film aims to serve as a fresh reimagining of the series under Universal’s banner.
