Josh Groban’s Find Your Light Benefit Concert to Honor Trumpeter and Feature Boy Bander Performance

The third annual Find Your Light Benefit Concert for Arts Education featuring Josh Groban and Friends will take place on Monday, Oct. 19, in the Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Josh Groban will host the concert, which will honor trumpeter and composer Wynton Marsalis and The Oliver Sacks Foundation.

Performances and appearances will come from Groban, Marsalis, Stephen Colbert, Louis Cato, Betsy Wolfe, Lorna Courtney, *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and more.

“At a time when access to the arts is more important than ever, I’m honored to once again host the Find Your Light Benefit Concert in support of arts education,” Josh Groban said in a statement. “Every year, I’m inspired by the incredible organizations and educators across the country who work tirelessly to make sure young people have the opportunity to discover their creativity, build confidence, and experience the transformative power of the arts. This special evening is about coming together to celebrate their work and raise the vital funds needed to keep these programs thriving.”

The Find Your Light Foundation awarded over $1.5 million to 257 nonprofit organizations across 40 states this year alone, providing high-quality arts education access to over 600,000 K-12 youth.

Wynton Marsalis commented on receiving the Find Your Light Award: “I have followed the excellent work that Josh and his family have devoted themselves to for two decades with their Find Your Light Foundation. The foundation’s mission is life-affirming, healing, and vital. Every young person deserves the opportunity to discover the transformative power of music and the arts.”

Kate Edger, executive director, stated on receiving the Arts for Healing Award: “The Oliver Sacks Foundation is delighted to accept this award acknowledging Dr. Sacks’s work and legacy in bringing the powers of music to public awareness.”

Tickets for the benefit concert cost between $125 and $500 and go on sale through the Jazz at Lincoln Center Box Office on Wednesday, Sept. 2. A gala VIP reception for sponsors and patrons will happen before the concert in the Ertegun Ballroom at JALC. Tickets are available if you go here.
