The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg has expressed his keen interest in reprising his role for the fourth installment of the Now You See Me franchise.
“Honestly, I would love nothing more than to star in Now You See Me 4. I’ve never felt happier than when I was playing that character. Usually, I’m cast as troubled individuals, which often takes a toll on my own mood. But stepping into the shoes of that confident, arrogant magician—I’d leave the set every day thinking, ‘That was incredible.’ He’s the only character who allows me to stand tall and wear sharper clothes. It genuinely makes me the happiest guy,”
— Eisenberg admitted in an interview with TheWrap. The Now You See Me series launched in 2013, centering on a group of illusionists who pull off audacious heists. The franchise also features notable performances from Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco.
The third film in the series was released in 2025 and became a rare Hollywood success story, grossing over 1 billion rubles at the Russian box office despite the challenging current climate.
This past spring, Lionsgate officially greenlit the fourth chapter of the saga. Before the year is out, Eisenberg is also set to release his latest directorial feature, the musical comedy “A Real Pain.”
