«Jennifer’s Body 2» begins filming this fall
Reports have surfaced indicating that production for the sequel to the cult horror-comedy “Jennifer’s Body” is slated to kick off this autumn.
According to data from Production Weekly, filming is scheduled to commence in Vancouver in October 2026. Both Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried are set to reprise their lead roles, with Karyn Kusama returning to the director’s chair. Initial word regarding the development of a “Jennifer’s Body” follow-up first emerged last year.
The original 2009 film centered on Jennifer (Fox), a cheerleader possessed by a demonic entity. As the high schooler begins a murderous rampage against local boys, her best friend Needy (Seyfried) races to put a stop to her carnage. Although the movie received a lukewarm reception from critics upon its initial release, it has since evolved into a bona fide cult classic.
