Jelly Roll Files for Divorce From Bunnie XO After Nearly a Decade of Marriage
Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO Part Ways After Nearly Ten Years

In a surprising development for fans, country music star Jelly Roll has filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO, effectively ending their nearly decade-long marriage.
Legal filings submitted on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee, reveal that the couple has opted to dissolve their union. Reports indicate the decision was mutual, with both parties viewing this as a private family matter. Despite the split, the pair remains committed to co-parenting their two children, 15-year-old Bailee and 7-year-old Noah.
The couple’s history dates back to 2015. They famously married in an intimate, unannounced courthouse ceremony in Las Vegas in 2016, later reaffirming their vows at the same location in 2023. Their journey has been public and candid; notably, the duo navigated a temporary separation in 2018 following infidelity. Bunnie XO documented the challenges of this period—and her choice to remain in the relationship—in her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.
Jelly Roll openly addressed the betrayal during an October 2025 appearance on the Human School Podcast, describing it as a low point in his personal life. At the time, Bunnie XO reflected on their reconciliation, suggesting that choosing to mend a relationship after such pain required a profound level of strength and dedication.
Recent months had been filled with forward-looking plans for the couple. In February 2026, Bunnie XO expressed on social media her hopes of expanding their family through surrogacy. Just hours before the news of the divorce went public, she shared a cryptic post on Instagram featuring the caption, “She’s getting her sparkle back.” Earlier this year, during the 2026 Grammy Awards, Jelly Roll had publicly praised his wife for her instrumental role in his personal transformation and career success.
Jelly Roll continues to stand as one of the most remarkable crossover success stories in modern country music, achieving multiple chart-topping hits like “Son of a Sinner” and “Need a Favor,” along with significant accolades, including a CMA Award for New Artist of the Year. Bunnie XO maintains her own strong footprint as a creator, with her hit podcast Dumb Blonde garnering a devoted audience.
As of now, neither party has issued a formal statement regarding the divorce proceedings.
