Imperiums: The Americas announced as a 4X strategy set in pre-Columbian America
Kube Games has announced Imperiums: The Americas, a new standalone entry in its turn-based 4X strategy series. The campaign begins in the early 1400s and includes 20 playable Indigenous civilizations.
The design focuses on state-building, trade and the influence of geography. Diplomatic contact is not available instantly. Players must send chiefs or envoys before formal relations can begin.
Distance, infrastructure, safety and terrain affect logistics. Political authority must also be balanced with spiritual guidance through rituals, crisis councils and evolving cultural mandates.
The game features a nonlinear invention tree that responds to player decisions, alongside Kube Games’ adaptive strategy AI. Imperiums: The Americas is in development for PC and is planned for Steam and the Epic Games Store. A release date has not been announced.
