“I Didn’t Get Into Hogwarts”: Trailer Released for Russia’s First Series About People with Non-Verbal Autism

The official trailer for the documentary series “I Didn’t Get Into Hogwarts” has premiered online. The full series is set to launch on domestic streaming platforms on April 2nd, coinciding with World Autism Awareness Day.

This project marks Russia’s first major documentary series focusing on the lives of individuals with non-verbal autism, offering a deep dive into their internal experiences and the unique communication strategies they utilize. The production features narration from a distinguished ensemble of Russian talent, including Nikita Kologrivyy, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Sasha Bortich, Nikita Efremov, and Ruzil Minekaev.

Conceived by Semyon Shomin (“Presumption of Innocence”) and directed by Evgeniya Leushkina, the series will be accessible to viewers on the Okko, START, PREMIER, and CHILL platforms.
