HUNTR/X Brings ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ to Macy’s 2025 Thanksgiving Day Parade with ‘Golden’ Performance

HUNTR/X — the fictional K-pop trio voiced by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI — made a high-profile daytime television appearance at the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

The act performed alongside a towering inflatable of the blue demon cat from Netflix’s blockbuster animated feature. The group delivered a spirited rendition of their smash hit “Golden,” a single that dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks.

Clad in sleek black outfits, the performers energized the crowd with a choreographed, high-octane staging featuring dancers in gold gloves and a branded platform bearing the group’s emblem. The set culminated in a flourish of fireworks and enthusiastic cheers from parade viewers.

Earlier this season, HUNTR/X appeared in a sketch with Bad Bunny on the Season 51 premiere of Saturday Night Live (Oct. 4) and later gave their first full live performance of “Golden” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (Oct. 7), where they also took part in an interview.

Beyond “Golden,” three additional cuts from the film’s soundtrack — “How It’s Done,” “What It Sounds Like” and “Takedown” — have all reached the Hot 100’s top 40. The soundtrack itself became the first film score to top the U.S. albums chart since Encanto in 2022.

HUNTR/X was one of many musical guests in this year’s parade lineup, which also included Cynthia Erivo, Lainey Wilson, Ciara, Foreigner, Debbie Gibson, Jewel, Lil Jon, Kool & the Gang, Taylor Momsen, Busta Rhymes, Shaggy and Teyana Taylor.
