“Hotel Transylvania” to Get a Fifth Installment
Sony and Amazon MGM have officially confirmed that a fifth installment of the beloved animated franchise, Hotel Transylvania, is in the works, with a scheduled theatrical release for October 8, 2027.
The upcoming feature is titled The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania✱The Haunting of Hotel Transylvania. In this new chapter, iconic characters such as Dracula and his daughter Mavis must band together to unravel a mystery haunting their hotel as enigmatic spirits from the past begin terrorizing the guests.
Directorial duties will be helmed by Jennifer Kluska and Alan Hawkins, who previously directed the franchise’s fourth entry, Transformania. Since its debut in 2012, the Hotel Transylvania series has achieved massive commercial success, grossing over $1.38 billion at the global box office. The original films featured a star-studded voice cast, including Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, and Andy Samberg.
