“Home Alone” star Brenda Fricker has died
Renowned actress Brenda Fricker has passed away at the age of 82, according to media reports.
Born in Dublin in 1945, Fricker began her professional journey appearing in British television soap operas. Her major breakthrough arrived with the 1989 drama “My Left Foot.” Her powerful performance in the film earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, marking her as the first Irish actress in history to receive the honor.
Fricker achieved widespread international recognition for her memorable role as the “Pigeon Lady” in the beloved comedy sequel “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.”
