Hilary Duff Returns With New Album “Luck…or Something”
Announced Nov. 21, 2025 — album arrives Feb. 20, 2026

Hilary Duff is officially back. On Nov. 21, 2025, the singer and actress revealed that her first full-length record since 2015 will be titled Luck…or Something, and is scheduled for release on Feb. 20, 2026.
Explaining the album’s name, Duff said the phrase reflects both fortune and the complicated, formative experiences that have shaped her. “It’s partly luck, and partly everything else that’s made me who I am,” she wrote in a statement about the project.
Luck…or Something will be Duff’s sixth studio album. Her recording career began with the holiday collection Santa Claus Lane (2002), followed by the breakout Metamorphosis (2003), which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. In 2005 she returned to the top with the compilation Most Wanted, which led the chart for two weeks.
The album’s cover shows the former Lizzie McGuire star reclining on a carpeted floor in a magenta sweater and sheer tights, eyes turned upward in a quiet moment of reflection. The tracklist includes the comeback single “Mature,” co-written with her husband and producer Matthew Koma; the song was released on Nov. 6, 2025.
About “Mature,” Duff explained that the song is a gentle conversation between her current self and her younger self — “a wry, grateful exchange that acknowledges where we’ve landed,” she said when the single debuted.
Duff has been preparing for a full musical return since signing a new deal with Atlantic Records in September 2025. A documentary series chronicling her creative comeback is also in development.
Just prior to the album’s release, Duff will play a string of intimate shows beginning Jan. 19, 2026, with stops that currently include London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, HISTORY in Toronto, the newly reopened Brooklyn Paramount and the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
