Here We Go Again: Rainbow Six Siege Servers Hacked, Players Hit with Multi-Month Bans

This marks the second major security breach within a remarkably short period.

Players of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege are navigating a new wave of chaos as hackers have begun orchestrating mass 67-day bans, citing “Harassment Offenses” as the justification. The specific ban duration is a deliberate nod to the viral “6-7” (six-seven) internet meme.

The community has been vocal on the R6Fix platform, where over 1,200 identical reports have surfaced, officially escalating the situation to “critical” status.

This follows a prior incident on December 27, 2025, when hackers infiltrated the game’s servers to distribute billions of R6 Credits, unlock legendary skins, and trigger arbitrary account status changes. At that time, Ubisoft temporarily deactivated the servers to perform a transaction rollback, ensuring that no players were penalized for the unauthorized currency influx. The studio also committed to implementing more robust security measures to prevent future vulnerabilities.
