Mortal Kombat 9 with DLC Now Operates Directly in Browser
Mortal Kombat 9 can now be played for free directly in a browser without any installation. This unofficial project features all DLC, gamepad support, and online multiplayer matches against other players.
Released in 2011, Mortal Kombat 9 has received an unofficial browser version. The game runs using WebAssembly and WebGPU technologies, utilizing the user’s computer resources rather than relying on traditional remote server streaming.
Players can fight solo or online with a friend. To play an online match, users simply need to create a room and invite a second player. The controls support keyboards and gamepads, which are detected automatically.
Game assets load progressively as fighters and arenas download upon first use and save locally to the computer. Players can adjust graphic quality settings and export save files.
Users should keep in mind that the project is unofficial, meaning the creators of Mortal Kombat may seek to block it in the future.
