Henry Cavill to Star Alongside Kevin Hart in New Netflix Action-Comedy
Henry Cavill, renowned for his iconic roles in Man of Steel and The Witcher, has officially joined the cast of an upcoming Netflix feature helmed by Charlie’s Angels director McG.
The film will also star comedian Kevin Hart. The narrative follows two rival spies whose lives collide when their wives, who have become close friends at a prenatal class, force them into an uneasy alliance as they navigate the complexities of impending fatherhood.
The screenplay is penned by Jonathan Tropper (This Is Where I Leave You) alongside Aaron and Adam Nee (The Lost City). The project is being produced by Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy (Stranger Things). A formal release date has yet to be scheduled.
Cavill was most recently seen in Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. He is also set to reprise his role in the third installment of Enola Holmes, which arrives on Netflix this July 1st.
